Topinka Taps DuPage Prosecutor For Running Mate
Dear Mr. Birkett,
I am a lifelong Republican from Cook County and a longtime supporter of yours. I am a member in good standing of organizations like the Worth Township Young Republicans and the Illinois Republican Liberty Caucus. I am from a family with a longtime tradition in law enforcement, including my father, uncle, and cousins. I worked hard to help you reach your landslide 2002 primary against Bob Coleman. I went door to do you to help you get votes throughout Worth Township in the 2002 general election against Lisa Madigan. I was eager to support you in your potential campaign for Governor and considered you one of the best candidates we could run against Rod Blagojevich.
All that aside, I will NEVER support your candidacy again if you become Judy Baar Topinka’s running mate.
Mr. Birkett, Judy Barr Topinka would be a disaster for the Republican Party if she were nominated. Topinka stood by and supported George Ryan throughout his tenure, including his horrific decision to give blanket amnesty to all murderers on death row. You’re well aware of the damage that caused. Judy Baar Topinka gladly accepted the support of corrupt machine figures and “former” radicals like Bobby Rush, once the “defense minister” of the Illinois Black Panthers and recently facing mortgage foreclosure for his failure to comply with the laws. You’re well aware of the damage that causes. Judy Barr Topinka was a disaster as party chairman, pushing Jack Ryan out of the race and then sitting ideally by for a month while the media anointed Obama as a deity-like figure. You’re well aware of the damage that caused. In short, Judy Baar Topinka will work to undermine everything you worked so hard to achieve. Surely the price of beating Rod Blagojevich is not that high.
I welcome any Republican who can defeat Blagojevich, but Topinka is not a Republican. She is not even a “moderate”. She is a person concerned solely with her own agenda, and that is the agenda of promoting Judy Baar Topinka. She will use to try use you to get conservative votes, and she will ensure you will not have any credibility with conservatives in a future campaign after you are forced to defend her “record” for months on the campaign trail or in the governor’s mansion. Many Republicans, from Republican committeeman Kurt Eckhardt to two-time Congressional nominee Jim Nalepa, will testify to the betrayals they faced once they though Topinka was on their “side” in a campaign.
I would love to vote for you again, but I cannot if you stand by Topinka’s side. It is nothing person. I would not support Judy Baar Topinka if she resurrected Abraham Lincoln or Ronald Reagan to be her running mate. I would not support her if Peter Fitzgerald was her campaign manager or the ghost of Everett Dirksen endorsed her. I will do everything possible to work towards her defeat in the primary, and that does not change if you are her running mate.
Mr. Birkett, you ran a great race against Mike Madigan’s baby and you have a bright future ahead of you. Please, I beg you, do not throw it away by aligning yourself with Judy Baar Topinka. Look closely at her record – which represents everything you stand against – and announce you have reconsidered and must decline her office and continue to serve as state’s attorney throughout this campaign. Or run for Lt. Governor in your own right, but do not ever endorse her in the primary. If you support her, you turn your back on thousands of conservatives that rallied to your side and they will never do so again.
The ball is in your court now. You can crusade for law-and-order; fighting corruption, political reform, or you can push it all aside to get on a stage with Judy. The choice is yours.

I'm glad that someone is showing a principled position, even if it means we give Rod another 4 years in office. After all, at least we'll be pure.
And more importantly, I'm glad that someone is making the issue of mere association with JBT the new conservative litmus test. That is a sure way to find people with the experience we need and the track record we want to be on the statewide ballot and carry the fight to the other side's machine. We can then keep the governor's office out of the hands of librals- after all, we don't want a libral in that office.
I'd be interested in having Joe join the ticket to get additional proof of what Cathy Santos confessed to- that there are a lot of state workers on the JBT campaign on state time. Yes, I know they are clever and hide, but if Joe were a bigwig in the campaign, he'd know it was happening and could indict before March, clearing the way for Oberweis or Andy Martin. What a tremendous boost in our efforts to win in November!
I am putting all those state workers on notice- we know you're there in Riverside, even if the lights are out and the doors are locked. What better way to campaign than to make people think you're not doing it. That is a sure way to help your candidate. But beware, we are on to you. And just because you have some Jesse White workers and John Stroger family members supporting you, we know that's really a cover for all the other illegal state workers in Riverside.
And they even smoke indoors, making people think they are following the smoking rules, when they aren't. But remember, where there's smoke, there's fire.
Go get 'em, Joe. Here's one conservative who will forgive you and vote for you if you indict before March.

Citizens can Make A Difference On Election Day
Everyone is encouraged to pass this on, to everyone in their address book, in order to inform all as we need everyone's help to stamp out this disease that plagues this County. There are power in numbers, and we have to send the message that "Corruption will no longer be tolerated." Pass this to a concerned friend!
The Feds may want to know about corruption, but will not do anything about any of it. They have had plenty of this information, as well as the Attorney General,and both still have their hands in their pockets. Corruption runs rampant in DuPage County, headed by Joe Birkett, and favors are constantly the way everything in DuPage is obstructed.
Joe Birkett had an opportunity to clean-up the cesspool in 1998, but instead, joined the ranks of the corrupted Officials, by sitting on the indictments, of the County Administrator Don Zeilenga, and his Transportation Committee Board Members. This was part of the buried paint striper which led to the Public Corruption Investigation. This was never prosecuted! The EPA and USEPA were under the impression Birkett, was going to prosecute the case. It never happened! EPA and USEPA were on site to assist in the technical assistance that the taxpayers had paid for. Close to 187 million dollars went missing from an Emergency Reserve fund, about the same time, and Zeilenga lied to the taxpayers, informing them the contamination site had no contamination. He misused this money, covering up this corruption. Birkett most likely, agreed to sit on all indictments, on a sealed deal to run against Lisa Madigan in 2002.
Now he is running with Judy Topinka in the Governor's race for 2006. Too bad Judy! Birkett is a broke loser, and will drag her down. He is as corrupt as the Masters he serves on the County Board, that think they can use their influences, and are above the Laws.

This information being sent as a courtesy to inform all, in order to cease corruption in Government. Birkett has failed to clean up his own backyard at DuPage, and his Platform with Judy Topinka is erroneous. He is only looking for a bigger playground to spread this infection. We can stop this on election day in March and in November.
This is all factual, and have witness statement who worked close to this investigation who was at liberty to give this to me, in order to get investigators interested. He has the name of the lead investigator. So far this has not happened as no one seems to want to bother with the "Boys Club" in DuPage.
